In celebration of PEMEA's 10th year anniversary, the theme for the ICEME is “Progress in Educational Assessment: The Past, Present and Future Perspectives”.

​

The conference aims for teacher educators, basic education teachers, researchers, academics, test personnel and other education and evaluation stakeholders to:

​

(1) Acquire updates on recent developments in evaluating educational programs in the global community;

(2) Engage in a discussion on the contemporary approaches in evaluating educational programs for development and internationalization;

(3) Share best findings and practices related to measurement, assessment, and evaluation of educational programs; and

(4) Establish linkages with professionals in the field of measurement and evaluation worldwide.

The conference showcases plenary sessions and concurrent paper presentations from national and international experts and practitioners in the field of measurement and evaluation.

Registration

 

The registration fee for early bird international participants is USD 250.00 until August 1, 2018 (onsite registration is USD 300). For local PEMEA members, registration is Php 4,000.00 for early bird until July 20, 2018 and Php 4,500.00 for on-site registrants. The fee for non-PEMEA members but early bird registrants is Php 4,500.00 while on-site registrants are charged of Php 5,000.00. Registration fee includes conference materials, lunch, and snacks during the conference. Membership fee for PEMEA covers the journal, newsletter, and ID card.

Student Congress

​

In lieu of the ICEME, we would like to invite your Senior High School and College students to attend the student congress on August 25 from 1:00-5:00 at the Hotel Jen. The PEMEA Student Congress is a series of talks about student motivation, engagement, and using technology for effective learning. Registration is Php 600.00 inclusive of snacks and certificate.

 

Submission of Paper Presentations:

​

1.  Include the title of the paper

2.  List the authors with their affiliations, e-mail address, and cell phone numbers

3.  Abstract up to 150 words with 3 keywords

4.  Items 1 to 3 is typed in a word file in single space.

5.  Send the abstract to pemea.iceme@gmail.com

 

Upon receipt of confirmation from the scientific committee, you may register for the conference.

FAQs on CPD points for ICEME 2018 

 

Question: Is ICEME 2018 a valid CPD activity?
Answer: Yes. ICEME 2018 is an activity of the Philippine Educational Measurement and Evaluation (PEMEA), a duly recognized professional organization in the country. 

​

Question: How many points will I receive if I attend ICEME 2018?
Answer: The points will be determined by PRC when you apply for your license renewal.

​

Question: What document do I need to submit for the CPD points for ICEME 2018?
Answer: You only need to submit the certificate of participation for ICEME 2018 to PRC. 

​

Question: I am a member of PEMEA. Can I submit this for CPD points?
Answer: Yes. CPD points may be earned in several means which includes membership to professional organizations under "Self-directed professional development track' of Republic Act No. 10912.
