This CPDP focuses on the research process involved when developing tests and scales. At the end of the session, participants are expected to propose an outline of a research plan for developing a test or scale that may be used to measure a specific skill, attitude, or trait. This CPDP will be useful for psychometricians, test developers, and researchers who are designing their own data-gathering instruments.

​

Seminar Goals:

(1) Identify gaps and provide a rationale for studying a measurement tool;

(2) State the research questions that will address the gaps identified; and

(3) Design a method to answer the research questions.

​

8:00-12:00 Session 1

12:00-1:00 lunch

1:00-4:30 Session 2 and workshop

The registration fee for the CPDP is Php 1,500.00, which includes conference materials, snacks, and lunch.
